Hakim’s proudest professional accomplishment is managing the Montgomery County Youth Empowerment Program earlier in his career. “The youth workforce program successfully reached thousands of youth and families throughout the entire county,” he says. “It’s most rewarding to see former participants who are now adults doing well in life.

 

They are working, raising their own families, and accomplishing great things here in Montgomery County and throughout the region.”

Just like those Hakim has helped, many have helped him. 

MCIU’s Hakim Jones moderated Holistic Black Wellness, the first topic in the Health and Wellness in the Black Community series developed by the Montgomery County Black History Month Committee. The program is hosted by the Montgomery County Health and Human Services Department .
